Re: Castles & Crusades

Sounds awesome, looking forward to reading the journals and gameplay.

While I won't be playing any C&C at GCX, I am thinking of grabbing a ticket to a game using Amazing Adventures, titled Kolchak: The Night Stalker in the Big Easy.

That has potential to be fun. Are you going in on it?
I don't know if I'll go in on the KS, but if some happen to be at GCX I may grab a copy. Otherwise I may order one sometime after, if available.

Re: [KS] Dungeon Delve Adventure: Tower of the Black Sorcerers

It sounds interesting-ish, and I like the pieces of art that I've seen thus far, but the maps don't impress me. I haven't watched the video yet, may take a look in more detail later. Allan. Is it the small details like beds, barrels, shelves, etc or the space filler style on the maps? Those were th...

Re: 3 new KSs that caught my eye: Highlander, Hermetica, and CharacTable!

I saw the Highlander game advert, I'll be interested to hear how it plays. Can't say I've played many abstract games, but Hermetica reminds me of The Duke , by Catalyst Games. If you've never seen or played it, definitely check it out. I have a copy of the base game but only had the chance to play i...

Re: Garycon Registration

Friday Night: grodog's Castle Greyhawk (AD&D) (Also keeping in mind DMing the event for Paul that Allan mentioned up thread) I cancelled my Friday night game to help run Paul's tourney. If I'm not needed to DM, I'll be looking for a pickup game! :D Allan. Very cool. I saw you mention this on the ot...

Re: Garycon Registration

Well, Diamond attendees for Garycon registered today. I noticed that someone already swiped a seat to my Saturday morning, Buried session. Pretty cool. Diamond tickets are $1000, I guess I'm going to have to bring my A-game that morning.

INFOCOM, the company behind ZORK and other interactive fiction games

I ran across this documentary about the company INFOCOM who published their games from the late 70s through the late 80s. The company is probably most famous for it's ZORK line of weird fantasy interactive fiction games. I remember first being introduced to the original ZORK sometime around early 80...
