still nuking board?

Post by grodog » Wed Jan 03, 2018 7:11 pm

Jay---

I thought that you had posted about nuking the board at the end of the year, but now I can't find that thread. Did you change your mind, and delete it? Has my google-fu failed me? Is early senility setting in? ;)

Allan.

Actually, you are not mistaken. I had a post stuck that was about bringing the site down at the end of the year. However, sometime before the holidays kicked in, I had a change of mind and replied to the post stating that I would be keeping it going after all, regardless of how much or little traffic it was getting, joking that the site was only "mostly dead". The cost of keeping it up is negligible and I enjoy posting here, even if it is just for my own use. In the end it's my own little corner of the internet and with the time and effort I've spent putting it together I'm not in a hurry, after all, to just ditch it. However long I feel like maintaining it.

So yes, I actually deleted the post a day or two ago when I was here adding a couple posts. I didn't think there was any reason to keep it up any longer.

Makes sense, thanks for clarifying!
