Ars Magica

Over in the CoC thread, we got talking about Ars Magica, so I thought I should carve that discussion out to show the proper deference to Azathoth.

Ars Magica.... my favorite RPG I never get to play. I wonder if there would be any takers at GaryCon?
I don't know, perhaps there would be GaryCon interest, but I don't know any of the other guys in our semi-regular cohort who're into it (which certainly doesn't mean that no one else is, of course, just that the opportunity to jabber about it hasn't arisen, perhaps...). I'm playing ArM 5e using Google Hangouts with some DF and FB guys from Philly. We've played once so far for three hours, and it went well. The DM started us in medias res, being thrown into the donjon of the local lord (we're in England in 1189-ish, in Alderley Edge and Longdendale Valley, basically midway between Chester and Notthingham).

If you're interested in joining, I'd be happy to ping them--we're playing relatively free-form in that we don't expect everyone to be available for each session each time we play, so come-and-go works (and should be manageable pretty easily in the seasonal flow of the campaign, hopefully).
