Welcome to info for my White Box campaign!
To start things rolling, a creature to peruse at your leisure:
Nachtmorden (Night Murder)
Split stats represent day/twilight/night capabilities
Armor Class: 7/4/-1
Hit Dice: 3/6/9
Attacks: 2 claws/ 2 claws/ 4 claws
Damage: 1d4/ 1d8/ 1d12
Special: at night surprise 90% of the time; completely invisible when stationary at night
They are human sized, native to the "Schwartzenwald" (Black Forest) They are created by witches; the creation ritual requires the lifeblood of three innocents combined in a cauldron made of crystal. The heart of a wolf and soil from the graves of 3 murderers must be added. This potion must then be consumed by an unwilling host at the exact stroke of midnight; the unwillingness fuels the creature's anger.
If the creature is defeated in the day, it becomes a dried husk which dissolves in 3 melee rounds. If defeated at twilight, the creature combusts for 1d4 damage, totally consuming the remains. If defeated at night, the creature vanishes in a puff of smoke, and will return as a shade in 1-3 lunar cycles as a shade; the shade will be tied to that area and will be a highly aggressive spirit until defeated, preying on all who travel through that area at night.
A place for DMs, GMs, or players to post stories, play reports, or general info about their current or ongoing campaigns.

The land of Francais has long been a thorn in the side of the peoples of Germania. Although the "Volk" long for a unified kingdom, the machinations of King Gilles Le Marne continue to thwart their efforts. With an outbreak of the pox along the coast of Brittany, the nobles of Francais have neither the time nor inclination to continue their efforts against the Germanian will. A Bavarian noble, Heinrich Von Bandner, has sounded the call to action. Will the Volk arise?
