INFOCOM, the company behind ZORK and other interactive fiction games

Post by Cloak-n-Dagger » Wed Jan 10, 2018 7:02 pm

I ran across this documentary about the company INFOCOM who published their games from the late 70s through the late 80s. The company is probably most famous for it's ZORK line of weird fantasy interactive fiction games. I remember first being introduced to the original ZORK sometime around early 80s, this was about the time I was getting into Red Box D&D, the original Nintendo, fantasy novels, and game books. The two PC game series that had the biggest impact on my childhood are by far, the ZORK series, and Ultima series from Origin Systems.

Below is a 47 minute documentary for anyone interested.
